Responsibilities:
- Perform various horticultural tasks such as planting, pruning, and fertilizing plants
- Maintain and care for lawns, gardens, and landscapes
- Operate power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasks
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address plant diseases or pests
- Assist with landscape design and installation projects
- Provide recommendations for plant selection and placement based on site conditions
- Ensure proper irrigation and watering of plants
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Knowledge of gardening practices and techniques
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in landscaping
- Ability to identify common plant diseases, pests, and weeds
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
Note: Experience in groundskeeping is a plus.
