The Production Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a production facility. This includes overseeing the production of products, ensuring quality control, and managing the production staff. The Production Supervisor must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and must have strong leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the production of products in accordance with company standards
- Ensure quality control of products
- Manage the production staff, including hiring, training, and disciplining
- Develop and implement production schedules
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Troubleshoot production problems and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment
- Comply with all applicable safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Plastics or Diploma from CIPET
- 2+ years of experience in a production environment of Blown film Extrusion
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot machinery
